“Lord, if you are the King of all, do
something!” Are you in control dear Lord? Did Christ have the power to save
himself? Of course, there’s no doubt about that. But did He do it ? When He saw the people who were responsible
for his suffering what did He do? And here comes the power of God, He said,
“Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” (Lk.23:34) He asked the Father to FORGIVE those who
crucified Him. That is where he manifested His power. God’s power is the power
to forgive even those who caused his
death .
When
you forgive, my dear friends, you are showing the power of God. When you love,
and not do violence, you are powerful just like how Christ is powerful.
When you share and when you give; and
when you help, you are powerful. But when you do violence; when you are
selfish; you are greedy; you want to
take everything for yourself ; You are weak! But if you give everything and
say, “Lord, I’m ready to give my life.”
Just like what the martyrs have
done, who even in the face of threat on
their lives , they went on serving Christ. That is power! And when you do that,
there is the Kingdom of Christ in you.
Christ will be in you. We make Christ present, we have Christ
in our midst.
