As we look at the events and
happenings during these times. We are tempted to ask, “Lord, if you are the
king of all, do something! Are you in control dear Lord? Why won’t you do
something?”
Do
you know what the Lord will answer to
the question, “Lord what have you done?” We will hear him say loud and
clear, “I have done something, I have
created you, nilikha kita”. And what
is your reply?, “What Lord if you have
created me, what Lord if you have made me?” And the Lord tells us further
louder and clearer; what He said to his
firstApostles, “As the Father has sent me, so also do I send you.”
In other words, Jesus created us and sent us just as how He was sent by God the Father .
And what was the mission of Christ? When
He went to Nazareth and as he was in the synagogue he was assigned to read the
scroll. When he opened the Bible, he
read in the book of Isaiah, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. He sent me to
bring Good News to the poor; He sent me to give sight to the blind; He sent me
to set the prisoners free; He sent me to heal the sick and announce that
the time when the Lord will save his people has come."
If
we look at the life of our Lord, what did he do in order to make
“The Kingdom of God has come.”
What did he do in order to establish the Kingdom of God even still on
earth? He told everyone “Repent, be
converted!”. And when the people repented, turned back from their evil ways
then, the Kingdom of God started. Where did it start? It started in their
hearts. And this is one of the things we ought to know. Where is the Kingdom of
Christ? The Kingdom of Christ starts right here in our hearts.
